The SRF Experience
The Summit for Religious Freedom (SRF) brings together people from all backgrounds and beliefs — advocates, educators, faith and non-faith leaders, students, and allies — to strengthen the collective defense of church-state separation.
Across four days, SRF offers education, collaboration, and connection in a setting that balances strategy with community. Participants leave informed, motivated, and equipped to advance inclusive religious freedom in their own work.
Keynotes and Sessions
The main stage is where ideas meet impact.
National voices, grassroots organizers, legal experts, and cultural leaders share insight on the challenges shaping today’s democracy — and the strategies that move us forward.
Each session is built to educate, challenge, and inspire practical action that protects the rights of all.
Organizing Institute
Held the day before the Summit begins, the Organizing Institute is a hands-on pre-conference designed for advocates at all levels.
Through interactive learning, participants strengthen skills in storytelling, coalition-building, and local leadership.
The Institute reflects SRF’s commitment to accessibility, intergenerational learning, and leadership from the margins — ensuring everyone can translate values into effective action.
Hill Day
SRF culminates in Hill Day on Capitol Hill, where attendees put their knowledge into practice.
Participants engage lawmakers and staff to advocate for policies that safeguard religious freedom and democratic resilience.
Hill Day turns shared learning into collective advocacy — demonstrating the impact of voices joined in purpose.
SRF365
SRF365 extends the Summit experience through virtual programming that connects advocates nationwide year-round.
Policy briefings, skills workshops, and partner conversations ensure that the discussion and collaboration continue beyond April.
SRF Rewind
Missed a session or want to experience it again? SRF Rewind offers a one-time opportunity to revisit select SRF sessions virtually. It’s the only chance to catch the workshops and trainings you couldn’t attend in person — or to relive a powerful moment with the SRF community.
Bookstore & Author Moments
In partnership with a locally owned bookstore, SRF curates works from Summit speakers and authors who explore faith, freedom, and justice.
Attendees can purchase books, attend signings, and engage in discussions that connect ideas on the page to action in the world.
Commmunity Gatherings
Throughout the Summit, structured and informal gatherings create space for networking and shared reflection.
These moments build relationships across generations and experiences, fostering a sense of belonging around a shared commitment to defending freedom for all.
Live Experiences
Live podcast recordings, film screenings, and creative installations bring SRF’s themes to life through art and storytelling.
These interactive moments add dimension and depth to the learning experience and highlight the diverse ways people engage with this work.
