Accessibility at the venues

SRF Health & Accessibility Committment includes all people and abilities

Hotel (the Westin Alexandria Old Town)

  • ADA-compliant hotel rooms and meeting spaces
  • Elevators to all levels
  • Wheelchair-accessible restrooms
  • Service animal–friendly policies
  • Gender-inclusive restroom in the main conference area

Hill Day venues

We are in the process of finalizing the venues in Washington, D.C., for Hill Day and will add accessibility information once it is available.

Please note that current Congressional regulations require visitors to Capitol Hill to use bathrooms that correspond with the sex they were assigned at birth. Many, but not all, Capitol Hill buildings have a limited number of single-stall restrooms open to all.

Protests & demonstrations

SRF recognizes that protest and direct action are important forms of political expression. We welcome creative and peaceful expression, but ask that participants ensure:

  • Protests do not cross others’ personal boundaries or deny them safety
  • Sustained disruptions that prevent the program from continuing are not permitted
  • Actions that put anyone’s safety at risk will result in removal from SRF

Reporting concerns

If you are subjected to or witness unacceptable behavior:

  • Complete our incident report form
  • Find a SRF staff member at the Registration desk or elsewhere on site (look for SRF staff badges)

All reports are handled in accordance with AU’s Harassment & Discrimination policies and procedures.

Health & safety

We recognize that COVID-19 and other public health concerns remain ongoing. To support community health, SRF will:

  • Share any additional health requirements (mask/vaccine) prior to the event.
  • By registering, you understand and agree that the Summit for Religious Freedom (SRF) and Americans United for Separation of Church & State (AU) are released and held harmless from all liability related to COVID-19, COVID-19 variants, and any other communicable infections arising from participation in the event.
  • Support attendees’ choice to wear masks.
  • Provide free masks, sanitizer, and COVID tests on site.
  • Encourage testing and self-isolation if symptomatic (we can provide virtual conference access if needed).

All participants must:

  • Wear their SRF badge visibly at all times.
  • Follow health, safety, and accessibility guidelines set by SRF organizers.

Together we can make SRF a safer, healthier,
and more accessible conference for all.
Thank you for joining us in this commitment.

See you in May 2027!
